		<description>Oh I love this! My parents aren&#039;t, uh, the museum types and I didn&#039;t go to a real one until I went to college. They were great about taking us to see famous sights (monuments, national parks, etc) but no way no how were they going to look at a bunch of paintings inside a building.

I will raise my children differently for sure.</description>

		<description>My sister is big into exposing kids to art...she has done class projects on it.  She thinks they should be exposed early and often and they understand more than we realize.  I took Madison to Vanita&#039;s BA art show at Truman and another artist from her class did ceramics.  She made these rats all tangled up in wire.  Madison, 7 years old, says, &quot;Oh, I get it.  Because the rats are carrying those wires like rats carry diseases.&quot;  There were many adults that did not get the meaning of that peice.  The artist was astounded that a kid got it...and her own mom didn&#039;t!  Here is a picture.
