A Little More Love

On Friends when Chandler and Monica get married, only a few moments later, Monica asks, “Is it too soon to watch the video?” I like to relive moments shortly after they happened too. And I got an awesome gift when I checked my email today. The Rescues gave me permission to use their beautiful Christmas song on my blog! I’ve put it with a slideshow of pics from our Christmas. We had an actual wedding in the family this season, so you’ll find those pictures in here. Plus kids and presents and family members you don’t even know. The song has such a beautiful sentiment though – I think you’ll like it. (You can also find The Rescues on MySpace).

  1. smile. smile. smile.

  2. And, I’m crying. Every Chrismas should be captured this way. It is so perfect. Thank you, Serenity Beth.

  3. I just received my favorite christmas gift of 2009. This blog entry. The song, coupled with that awesome video. THANK YOU for sharing, oh and p.s. I swear that cat is smiling. Im just sayin.

  4. Cheri' White says:

    Ahhhhhhhhhhh! That was absolutely lovely!

  5. So lovely! I’m a Monica too, trying to view the footage right after it happens. I hope you are having a lovely Christmas season (and, yes, I consider Dec 31 the official end of “the Christmas season”).

  6. You are “the bombdiggity” Seren! This is an absolutely perfect way to capture your memories of Christmas, and your right, the song if perfect. HOWEVER! Your kids are really getting, um, BIG! Every time you post pics I am amazed at how big they are, especially John Michael. Thanks so much for sharing!

  7. Sarah, I definitely stretch Christmas into this week too. I turn the tree lights on all day and still feel all warm and fuzzy. :)

Andrea, don’t get me started. (Is this Andrea T or Andrea C?) John makes me cry right now. CRY. He carries himself tall too. He’s not like a 10-year-old trapped in a 14-year-old’s height. He’s like a 14-year-old trapped in only ten years of life. I can feel him outgrowing me, and it’s HARD. (I mean, he’s very nice about it, but still…).

  8. All I have to say to that is: POLAR BEAR PAJAMAS!!!

Haha! Well, that and you guys are adorable. I really wish my family lived close together.

  9. Wonderful! Beautiful!!! So fun to see!

  10. Loved it. My very favorite picture, Lord only knows why, is Jake showing that he got Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs TO his dinosaur. That picture makes me laugh everytime I think of it!
