Oh, no. I knew they were harem pants. But they were so much more decent than the skin-tight, see-the-quarter-in-your-back-pocket jeans that we were glad to get them for you no matter what they were called.

And, I had the same reaction as Felic. When I read the title of the blog, I knew Michael was the answer. And I thought you had put up a picture of him as an illustration.

And, I CAN NOT wait to read his blog post. Holly may want to sign him, too.

Thank you – Lic and Carol! That’s what I thought too. I seriously thought I’d found a portal to 88 or so when we dressed John up like this. And like Felic I normally think John favors me (and my brother). And, May, you’ve just reminded me how we convinced Mom to let us wear them. Hammer, not harem.

Felicity – I caught myself thinking the same thing. And I regularly think John Michael looks like Michael. :-) Maybe it’s cause I don’t see them very often, and am going off the memory-picture I have of Michael in my head from our younger years.

Also, AGREED on the shoulder pads and harem pants. I’m just pretending this isn’t happening. It feels very “the Emperor is wearing no clothes.” They are NOT tricking me into a pair of harem pants (again.)

Also, we called them Hammer Pants in Florida. We were big fans of the MC I guess.

Speaking of Michael, I was all confused by this picture of John. I mean, I was trying to figure out how you had a picture of Michael from 5th grade in YOUR CURRENT HOUSE! : ) How funny. I usually don’t think they look alike at all.
