I love this day. It was horrible and gray and cloudy when I woke up. Then while I was in a meeting at work, the sun came out. I picked up my boys, and we spent real live time together over lunch where I actually listened to what they had to say and learned new things about them and as they spoke I got distracted by their sheer good looks.
Here is some love to start off your weekend. It’s not a great picture because I was sitting above and behind them on a stool and tried to inconspicuously hold the camera in front of them while they listened to the story. Mom knows a preacher who says that phrase, “If the Lord tarries,” when he makes announcements and such. You know, the meeting is tonight . . . if the Lord tarries. It has been a long time, don’t you think? Two thousand years ago – give or take – I know his disciples never would have guessed it would be this long. It leaves a lot of room for doubt.
